Electronic Administration: a definitive goodbye to paper?

Electronic Administration (also known as E-Administration) refers to the incorporation of new information and communication technologies or ICT in Public Administrations, achieving a total transformation and modernization of the Administration itself, thus trying to replace the processes on paper by electronic processes. The precursor Administration of this great change in Spain was the Tax Administration , currently spreading in different Public Administrations, both at the national and Autonomous Community levels as well as provincial and even municipal, developing improvement programs through virtual offices that offer information and procedures electronically. For this reason, we must mention the Digital Transformation Plan of the General Administration of the State and its public organizations (ICT strategy -), whose main strategy is the implementation and digital transformation of Public Administrations before , thus achieving a delivery model.

The aim of eliminating as much paper

The different administrative procedures, with the consequent economic and ecological savings that this would entail. Regarding its regulation, the Electronic Administration is regulate mainly in Law ,  on the Legal Regime of Public Administrations and the Common Administrative Singapore Mobile Database Procedure and in Law / , of June , of electronic access of citizens to public services, laws that will continue to apply until the entry into force of the new Law / . Regarding Law /, it establishes as new developments regarding the electronic Administration its authentic implementation, with the intention of exiling an Administration base on paper, facilitating the record of documents and actions through the electronic file.

Another novelty is the implementation

Through an enable electronic address, which facilitates access to notifications without having to travel to the different institutions or offices of the Administration. But this will not be the only regulation that we will find, since there are different processes related to e-Administration (such as electronic signature) which are regulated in other legislation such as Law /, on electronic New Zealand Phone Number List signature , or Law  on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector , among others. Regarding the advantages that Electronic Administration offers us, we find the following: Total availability of administrative services, that is, the possibility of interacting with the administrations themselves hours a day, days a year. Ease of accessing the systems through the Internet or by telephone, avoiding having to go to the Administration offices.
